The Board of the Bear Valley Special Road District is comprised of three commissioners appointed to staggered 3 year terms by the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners. They must meet at least once per month and must publicly announce their meeting time, location, and agenda in advance of each meeting . Currently the board meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Salmon River Grange hall located at 5371 Salmon River highway in Rose Lodge near the Rose Lodge Market and the Rose Lodge Fire Station. Any member of the public may request public documents from the Bear Valley Special Road District, such as minutes, agendas, policies, and budget documents and the district must fulfill the requests in a timely manner
